Our Process
Consultation
Hardt Construction Services takes the time to meet with our clients, ensuring that we understand their project, budget and scope. We review your requirements and goals, and research the parameters of your project to have everything ready when you meet with the owners, Michelle and Tim Hardt. They will talk you through the plan and answer any and all questions you may have about your commercial remodeling, tenant improvement project.
Design & Development
When you decide to proceed with HCS, you will sign a Design Development Agreement, which confirms that the design is yours alone. A 3D model and preliminary space plan are drafted to help you envision the final product. A measuring meeting is scheduled with the client, the project engineer and the construction manager, so everyone understands the project.
Finally, a design presentation and budget review meeting take place, providing a full cost analysis with an estimator covering all financial commitments. You are not asked to sign a construction agreement until you can fully visualize the completed space and have a complete understanding of what your commercial remodel will entail. As soon as the agreement is signed, the project can begin!
Communication is one of the reasons our clients appreciate working with us. We will take care of everything and let you know when your input and decision making are required. Hardt Construction Services will ensure every aspect of the project is covered, from permits to finishes.
You will be connected with your dedicated project engineer and team lead so you are able to contact one another as the work progresses. Throughout the project you will have full access to a client portal where daily updates and photos are posted, while our team is actively working on-site until the project is complete.
Final handover
When your remodel is complete, Michelle, Tim, and your team will do a walk through with you.

A detailed binder is prepared for you, detailing all products, warranties, care and cleaning recommendations.
